In addition to one-on-one therapy, I also created the Home Run Speech Program—a practical resource that makes daily practice easier for families and colleagues. Parents love it because they can confidently support their child’s progress at home, and fellow SLPs appreciate how seamlessly it integrates into therapy sessions or homeschool routines. It’s one more way I strive to make speech therapy approachable, effective, and empowering for everyone involved.
Home Run Speech™ - R Program
A parent-friendly and SLP-approved therapy system you can use from home. Perfect for kids whose speech is in the ballpark but still have a few sounds stuck at first base. Easy to follow for parents, simple to integrate for SLPs—helping kids round the bases toward clearer communication.
This program is designed for both parents and SLPs who want expert guidance with flexible, at-home practice. Parents gain the tools to confidently support daily speech practice, while SLPs can easily incorporate the system into their own therapy sessions. Many homeschool families have also found it simple to weave into their school day.

R Sound Speech Success
Why is the /r/ sound so hard for kids and adults?
The R Speech Success program is designed to help children, tweens, and teens correct their R sound using an intensive speech therapy approach. R Speech Success consists of a thorough evaluation, analysis of the test results, comprehensive report, and a plan of care and therapy that addresses the root cause of the R problems so we can achieve success, quickly!
We will meet M-F for 30 minutes over 12 weeks (60 sessions, 30 minutes in length). All sessions are held online providing convenience and privacy for parents’ and children’s busy schedules. This intensive approach is evidence-informed, solutions-focused, and effective!

I’m a dedicated speech therapist with over 40 years of experience helping children, teens, and adults improve their communication skills with speech therapy. At Peggy’s Speech Therapy, my mission is simple: to get to the root of speech challenges and use proven strategies to unlock clear, confident communication as quickly as possible.

After earning my master’s degree in Communication Arts and Sciences from Michigan State University, I built a career serving individuals across every stage of life—in hospitals, schools, skilled nursing facilities, private practice, and now through online tele-therapy. This wide range of experience allows me to provide therapy that is flexible, personalized, and effective.

Over the years, I’ve become especially passionate about helping clients master difficult sounds, like the “R” sound, using evidence-based methods, engaging games, and technology that makes practice fun.
